Wedding Card To Share.

Hello dear friends. Here's a wedding card I made back in May.

Photobucket

Photobucket

I've used beautiful Christina Re paper. I love the softness of this card with the cream and gold. I used blue paper as it is the brides favourite colour. The sentiment is Stampin Up "God's Blessings" stamp set. I don't use it that often but it is a set I will never give up as I love the words.

That's it for today. Just a quick share.

Have a great week.

Baby Pram and Onesie Gift Set.

Happy Friday dear friends. A quick post today as I'm very busy preparing for my little girls birthday. She is turning 3 tomorrow, how quickly the time goes. We have family coming over for afternoon tea to help celebrate with us. So I'm busy making yummy goodies and of course the birthday cake, which has to be a Dora one. Thank goodness for Edible icing pictures!!
Anyway, here's a baby onesie card and pram I made for a friend who is ready to have her third child in a few short weeks.

Bird is the Word: Smile

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you have some great plans for the weekend. We've had a busy couple of weeks, so we will be chilling out with the kids this weekend. Maybe watch a dvd or two, depending on the weather. If the sun comes out we may venture out to the park.

Here's a layout I have done for Bird is the Word 'Smile' challenge. I'm catching up scrapbooking photos of the kids. This is Renee at 13 months. I must admit it's nice having both a girl and boy. You get to do some really pretty, girly pages and some bright, funky little boy pages. Very blessed.

Close ups: the words at the top of the doily which I have not photographed are Loveable & Hugable. (see main photo)

Close-up of title. I typed up the words on the computer then printed them onto white cardstock, and chalked them to soften the stark of the white paper.

Fussy cut the paper and placed photo under. I didn't want to cover the beautiful paper. All the butterflies are hand cut from the same paper range.

You Will Always Be Adored.

Happy Thursday! Woohoo!! It's getting closer to the weekend and for us WA'ers, we will be enjoying a long weekend. So looking forward to it. One bonus of my hubby working for himself now, is he actually gets all the public holidays...I'm very excited about that!!

Anyway here's a layout I have been working on. Started this one a while ago and never got to finish it. It's been sitting in my 'Still need to complete' drawer which I went through the other day. Part of my TO DO list is to get all unfinished layouts completed and put in their appropriate album. Another job that needs doing!!

I love these photos of Renee. She's only 8 months old. They are such sweet photos of her. (Awwww...heart melting!!)

Bird Is The Word - Look/See

Happy weekend to you all. I hope you are enjoying yourselves and finding some time to relax. We have a beautiful sunny day here in Perth, so we are going to take the kids out to the park near the river this afternoon and enjoy this lovely weather while it's here.

Here's a layout I have done  for Bird is the Word Look/See Challenge.
This is the first time I have done one of their challenges and it is great to get those creative juices flowing and thinking outside the box, which is what this challenge did for me. You have to have the word 'Look' or 'See' on your layout somewhere and here I have used it in my title - Listen to your soul and See the possibilities. There's a close up of the title further down. Anyway, here's my layout.

Love My Boy

Hello friends, here's another layout I have completed of my little boy when he was only 10 months old...such a cutie!! I did this page up using the 4321 challenge at the Mystical Scrapbooks May Cyber Crop. Loved this challenge...4pp; 3 flowers; 2 leaves and a piece of chipboard. I've left it quite simple as these My Minds Eye papers are so beautiful and have enough detail on them. These have to be my favourite papers at the moment. I just LOVE them.

Had to use this rooster chipboard

Hand cut flowers from the PP

Products used: MME Miss Caroline 'Dilly Dally' papers and Label Stickers; Kaisercraft Mini Paper Blooms, White and Black Paint; Chipboard; Scallop Punch and The Crafter's Workshop 'Mini Chicken Wire' Template.

Again, thanks for taking a look.
Have a wonderful day.

Dirt & Mess = Boy

Hello lovelies, back today with a layout I did for Mystical Scrapbooks  May Cyber crop. I had loads of fun with this page using lots of paint on the chipboard letters and around the edges and on the pp. I'm loving playing with paint at the moment. When you look at Dillon's face you can see why I wanted to grunge up the layout a little. Priceless memories of this day.

As usual, some close-ups for you.

Products used: My Minds Eye 'Lime Twist' papers; chipboard alphas; Kaisercraft Rhinestones and Black Paint; Tim Holtz Idea-ology Journaling Tickets and Fancy Pants Designs 'About A Boy' Ribbon.

As you can see from the date I am still catching up on scrapbooking my older photos. After only completing three layouts last year I am happy to say my scrapbooking progress is going well and I may actually hit my goal of scrapping all my old photos of the kids and get on to some new ones.
Ha ha, only time will tell, but so far it's going great!!

Thanks for looking and any lovely comments you may leave.
Enjoy the rest of your week.

Happy Mother's Day

To all the wonderful mums out there, I hope you are having a fabulous day with your loved ones.
Here's the card I made for my mum. I'll see her tonight with the rest of the family. Being the eldest of five, family get togethers are always huge and loads of fun.

For this card I used the lovely Cosmo Cricket 'Tea for Two' collection. Perfect for a mum who loves her tea, and Lipton at that.

Have a fabulous day.

Fun times, Funny faces.

Good morning and welcome to another week. This year is flying by way too fast. Here's a layout I did on the weekend (very rare for me to have time on a weekend for scrapbooking). I have had these photos for about a year sitting in my photo box just waiting for me to scrapbook them. I love the playfulness of these photos. Dillon sticking his tongue out and monkeying around. So I wanted to make the page quite playful and bright. I also never put 5 photos on a page but wanted to keep them all together. I had lots of fun playing with red paint and used banners as my background. Here is the end result.

Some close-ups

Products used: Sassafrass Cherry Flag Banners; October Afternoon Sidewalks Chip 'n Stick and Flower Sack; October Afternoon Seaside Alpha's; Basic Grey Acid Washed So Sophie Letter Stickers; Kaisercraft Red Paint; Bazill White cardstock and Black Felt Pen.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful week.

Nature Scape

Hello beautiful people, hope you have all had a wonderful weekend. I'm back with a layout I started about a month ago using up some papers from my stash. Just trying to use them all up. These are MME 'So Sophie'. I love these photos. It looks like we are out in the bush but in fact, we are in Kings Park at the new Nature Scape playground. The kids love it there. They get to play in the water as well as learn about and appreciate their natural surroundings.
Lots of fussy cutting with the side strip, but I love the finished effect.

Close ups: Misting (you can only just see it in this photo)

The flowers are from the new Pink Paislee 'Indigo Bleu' range.

I'll be back with another layout and some cards soon.
Thanks for looking.

Card Patterns Sketch 162

Good evening. Here with another card. This time I was inspired by the sketch over at Card Patterns

Here's my take on  the sketch:

I made this card for my 12 year old niece to let her know how special and beautiful she is. I loved this sketch. So versatile. I even got out my old Stampin Up markers that never see the light of day anymore and spritzed the white background to break up the starkness.

These are the Copic colours I used:

Other products used: My Minds Eye 6x6 paper pad Stella & Rose; Stampin Up Markers & Whisper white paper, Silver Spica pen; Corner rounder; Kaisercraft rhinestones; Ribbon.

Thanks for looking and any comments you may leave me.
