Aggghhhh....No Laptop or Camera this Week.

Good Monday Morning to you all. I am without my camera and laptop at the moment as my DH has taken them away with him, to his work conference.
So unfortunately I am unable to post my current layouts at the moment as all my info is on my computer.
I will have plenty to share next week though, when he returns.

Have a great week.

Theme Challenge

I love this photo of Dillon in the hospital.
I think he was only 2 days old here.
So precious.
This layout was inspired by the challenges over at Challenge Heaven.
Go over and take a peak at some of the monthly challenges.
Great way to get those creative juices flowing.

Thanks for looking.

One Cool Dude - Colour Challenge

It's been a few weeks since I have had any time to sit down and enjoy my scrapbooking.
With my husband's 40th and my daughter's 1st birthdays within 2 weeks of each other, it has been a mad house around here. Well, for me anyway.
It was nice last week to take some time out for me and sit at my craft desk and create.
So here is one of my latest creations.

This was done using the colour challenge over at Challenge Heaven.
I love this photo of Dillon enjoying himself at a friend's farm.
He looks so comfortable on the quad bike, like he was born to ride one.
Probably doesn't help that his father rides a motorbike so he has been around bikes since he was born.

Thanks for looking and have a great week.
More pages to come soon.

Birthday Treat Baskets

These sweet baskets were made for my baby girl's first birthday last week.
I can't believe she is one already.
Time definately goes way too fast.

I found the template for these cute baskets in For keeps Creative Paper magazine way back in 2008 by Ruey Enanoria.
As soon as I saw them I thought they would be perfect as lolly baskets for everyone to take home, and so simple to make.

I love making gift bags and boxes for people so my daughter's birthday was the perfect excuse to make something special.

Both paper and sentiment are Stampin' Up. Finally using up all my left over SU paper.
I do love these ones though the colours are so fresh and vibrant.

Have a wonderful Monday.
It's raining here in Perth, WA so an indoor day today.
Maybe I will get some scrapbooking done, if my little ones let me.

Sympathy Card

A dear friend of mine recently lost her Grandfather In Law so I made this card for the family.
I have used Basic Grey Green At Heart printed paper.
Such pretty paper, I love it.
I got the idea for the doilie from Jessica Theodore, DT member over at The Stamp Spot.
A fantastic way to use doilies. I have wondered how I would use them on my cards
and this is perfect.
The gorgeous flower is of course Prima and I used Kaisercraft rhinestones.

Thanks for looking.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Card Cased for Mum

My mum has not been well all week so I made this card to let her know I was thinking of her and to hopefully cheer her up a bit.
I cased the card from the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine
Vol 16 No 2.
The original card was called Lift Your Heart by Shannon Johnston.
I have changed the colours and sentiment, so just used the original layout.
Such a beautiful, simple card to make.

Thanks for looking and Happy Friday.

Birthday Card for a Boy.

A quick card today. I made this for a friends little boy who turned two recently.
I used Crate paper's Zoom Collection.
This paper is so perfect for boy cards and layouts.
I love the colours and the distressed look it has.

Thanks for looking and have a fabulous Wednesday.
