Bird is the Word: Smile

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you have some great plans for the weekend. We've had a busy couple of weeks, so we will be chilling out with the kids this weekend. Maybe watch a dvd or two, depending on the weather. If the sun comes out we may venture out to the park.

Here's a layout I have done for Bird is the Word 'Smile' challenge. I'm catching up scrapbooking photos of the kids. This is Renee at 13 months. I must admit it's nice having both a girl and boy. You get to do some really pretty, girly pages and some bright, funky little boy pages. Very blessed.

Close ups: the words at the top of the doily which I have not photographed are Loveable & Hugable. (see main photo)

Close-up of title. I typed up the words on the computer then printed them onto white cardstock, and chalked them to soften the stark of the white paper.

Fussy cut the paper and placed photo under. I didn't want to cover the beautiful paper. All the butterflies are hand cut from the same paper range.
