Lollipop Ladies Challenge #14

Happy Wednesday lovely friends. I can't believe how quickly the year is going, middle of Feb already. It's time for another Lollipop Ladies Challenge and this week we have colourful smarties with the added bonus of Hearts. Perfect when we have just celebrated valentines day.




Here is my card for the challenge



I originally thought of the colours of the smarties and then as I sat down to create this card I focused on the hearts and the idea of love. I love this Sarah Kay image. It's so sweet and innocent. I'm also slowly getting through my stash of old papers. Here I have used Sassafras Indie girl. You can't see it very clearly in the photos, but I have cut around part of the flowers and stuck the image under, as if he is standing among the flowers. They are glossy accented as are the punched hearts.

I want to say a big thank you to Marcia and Sammi for letting me be part of this wonderful team. I have loved working on the Lollipop Ladies Design Team and made some wonderful friends.

    Hey Mel, your card is just super sweet - love the coloured image and all your details. LOVE Sassafrass paper and that's really creative how you've cut around the paper flower.     Mel, I love this. Think its one of the first card I have ever seen with Sassafras teamed up with Sarah Kay - but it works! Gorgeous as usual.

    And we have loved every moment of you being with us at The Lollipop Ladies. Hope you are able to keep up with the challenges!
