Well it's been a hectic weekend to say the least with the youngest splitting her head open last night and having to be rushed to the after hours doctors surgery to see if she needed stitches. After two hours my husband and daughter came home and the doctor had glued the split together. The miracles of modern science.
In the meantime I was waiting at home with DS now running very late for my cousins 40th b'day party which is who I made these OTP items for. I eventually got there and DD is all fine. You would think nothing happened except she knows she has hurt her head and I'm sure she sported a pretty wicked headache after all that. Thank goodness her behaviour is normal and she has shown no bad side effects like vomiting or convulsions that we were told to watch out for.
It amazes me how resilient children are. A huge bump to the head and she is her normal happy self today.
Sorry about all the photos. Just wanted to show the details for you. I made a matching set which includes a birthday card (of course), a notebook she can put in her handbag and a memo holder (Tutorial here), she can have by the phone at home. I popped in a pen and pencil too.
I made these using the gorgeous MME Stella & Rose Gertie 6x6 papers. I am sooooo in LOVE with these papers. I am going to have to buy more, I love them so much. The stamp is TGF Cheeky Chat. She is my favourite from the cheeky collection. I have also been practising my hair colouring lately. You may notice each image is slightly different in the hair colouring. Just trying out different techniques and highlighting.
Thanks so much for looking and hope you all have a wonderful week.
